Brother sewing machine skipping stitches?

Before using a Brother skipped-stitch article, declare that article, your exact model and the current mode. Check whether its documented scope matches, conflicts or is unknown. This is not a fault diagnosis and does not promise a fix.

Local selections only: no uploads, analytics, saved input or machine access. Only the ten listed models and ordinary sewing are supported. Independent tool, not affiliated with Brother. This checks declared article/model/mode coverage, not physical repair applicability.

Why check the article scope?

The Brother USA “Skipping stitches” answer 142432 explicitly lists 1034D, 1134DW, 1634D, 2340CV, 3234DT and CV3550. The SE725 “Stitches are skipped” FAQ is under Sewing (Utility Stitches), and lists SE600, SE700, SE725 and SE1900 among many related models.

Choose the article you are considering, not just the model. A documented conflict reports which model list does not include your selected model and provides the other reviewed source. Unknown models or modes produce no source verdict. A conflict is not proof that a particular repair technique is mechanically impossible or unsafe; this tool does not evaluate repair actions.

Only these ten reviewed models and ordinary sewing are covered. Embroidery, industrial use and other articles are outside scope. Primary guidance already exists at Brother; no exclusive repair knowledge or guaranteed resolution is claimed. Source scope reviewed 2 October 2026.
